The American Chemistry Council (ACC) has issued its latest Chemical Activity Barometer (CAB) which demonstrated the greatest year-on-year gain since August 2014.
The October 2016 CAB showed a solid advance of 0.3% over the month, following an upwardly revised increase of 0.4% in September.
Overall, October’s CAB was up 4.2% compared to this time last year – a marked increase over earlier comparisons and a strong entry into the third quarter of 2016. All data is measured on a three-month moving average.
