In February 2016, Air Water Inc., an industrial gas company based in Japan, acquired 100 percent of the shares of Taylor-Wharton Malaysia SBN BHD (TW) and appointed Eric Rottier as Chairman and CEO and Roland Wright as COO to run that business.
The terms of the agreement allowed that TW would continue to supply cryogenic bulk tanks for industrial gas and LNG, as well as microbulk, liquid cylinders, and beverage carbonation tanks to its global customers, as it has for over 20 years, from its two strategically located facilities near Kuala Lumpar in Malaysia.
To ensure service to its customers in North America, TW entered into a distribution agreement with Eleet Cryogenics Inc., with headquarters in Bolivar, Ohio. Eleet will become TW’s exclusive stocking and sales channel for microbulk tanks over 1,000 liters, and standard atmospheric and hydrogen bulk tanks in the United States and Canada. The agreement extends a partnership that was originally launched with Taylor-Wharton Cryogenics in September 2014.
