Record-breaking adventurer Brian Jones will take to the stage at the British Compressed Gases Association (BCGA) 2017 Annual Conference as the keynote speaker.
The pioneering English balloonist made headlines in 1999 when he completed the first non-stop, around-the-world voyage in the Breitling Orbiter 3 balloon powered purely by hot air and helium. In his presentation at the BCGA’s Annual Conference this April, Jones, who completed the 20-day mission alongside Swiss Bertrand Piccard, will relive his journey for the delegates – highlighting the technologies and forces that made it possible.
