Crowley Maritime, based in Jacksonville, Florida, operates in a multitude of domestic and international transportation and logistics markets.
The company initially entered the LNG market in 2012 as a user when the company committed to build two new commitment-class vessels for the Puerto Rico market that would be fuelled with LNG.
Shortly after, the company acquired Carib Energy (USA) LLC in 2013 and entered the small-scale LNG export market with a focus on Puerto Rico, Alaska, the Caribbean and Central America. Today, the company continues to operate in these markets and has also added LNG-powered microgrids, LNG vessel bunkering, LNG bulk transport, and LNG terminaling to the mix.
