Founded by President and CEO Bob Ernull, Chief Operating Officer Jack Smith, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing Tim Lowrey, Applied Cryo Technologies (ACT) has been building and selling aluminum trailers since 2012 for use in LNG and liquid air gases transport.
“We were cryogenic industry lifers,” Ernull begins, “and thought we could offer the market a different kind of cryogenic equipment manufacturer.”
Since their inception, that’s been the goal ACT has worked toward, and they’ve done so in forward-thinking ways. A partial shift from the use of steel to aluminum in manufacturing may not be news at this point, but the company’s dedication to the versatility of the lighter metal is a defining part of their approach to business.
