Today, New Jersey-based CryoVation is a spearhead in cylinder filling technology and cylinder fill plant concepts, having grown its footprint both domestically and internationally throughout its 17 years of business.
But the company that has grown and is thriving in today’s market was created through instant inception, as it was back to square one for CryoVation’s President Ric Boyd in 2000 when his then-company was shutdown.
Boyd was a co-partner in fill plant, pump and vaporizer specialist Woodland Cryogenics before Thermadyne bought the company. Just a year and half into the venture, Thermadyne ceased operations. “Because the company was done I just decided to set up my own business and carry on with what I had been doing,” Boyd explained.
