Cold Jet – A reinvigorated force in dry ice production

Back in 1986, Cold Jet officially opened its doors in Loveland, Ohio, with just 25 employees, a single production facility, and the desire to “turn a great idea into an even better product.” Fast forward 30 years and the dry ice innovator has amassed collective global facilities, a well-established product portfolio, and a worldwide customer base.

And Cold Jet’s position in the dry ice sector was reinforced further after announcing its takeover of Denmark-based dry ice experts IceTech at the beginning of this year. 

Jan Vansant, Board Member and Executive Consultant at Cold Jet, revealed four initial motivations behind the acquisition that led the company to seal the deal. Citing a robust product line, the market’s largest installed base of technical resources, IceTech’s technological advances and added global locations and service capabilities, Vansant said the company recognised the “unparalleled line up of dry ice solutions the combined company could offer” and set the ball rolling to become the leader in dry ice blasting and dry ice production technology.
