On 27th and 28th January 2016, 120 representatives of the industrial and medical gases industry, their suppliers, and customers came together at the Sheraton Hotel in Brussels, Belgium for a two-day training course on the basics of carbon dioxide (CO2).
A subject very much in vogue right now, the EIGA Carbon Dioxide Training Course addressed the fundamental topics related to the properties and sources of CO2 and the safe design and operation of systems used in the production, distribution and use of liquid, gaseous and solid CO2 – dry ice.
Nine experts from the industry took delegates through 12 modules covering all aspects from sourcing and purification, through to dry ice applications and the quality and regulatory aspects of using CO2 in the food and beverage industries. Modules included:
