Since our last report on food safety (“The FDA Revises Proposed Rules for Food Safety,” CryoGas International, December 2014, pp. 48-49), activities related to food safety have continued their rapid evolution.
Both government regulators and food safety experts in the gas industry have been busy preparing for full implementation of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) in 2016 and 2017. This article is an update of recent activity and a preview of things yet to come.
