I have always migrated toward the specialty gas side of the industrial gas industry. As a fourth generation welding industry professional entering my 35th year in the industry, I prefer the multitude of industries that gases introduce me to over the more limited metalworking side of the business.
I struggle to think of another industry that has such a profound impact on so many others. And the opportunities continue to grow.
Science, healthcare, pharmaceutical, research and development, and electronics are the “big” traditional consumers of gases for non-welding applications and among the most thriving components of industry clientele. One of the exciting aspects of the gas business is that as technology advances, so do the opportunities to improve these applications by applying gases to them.
