This month’s ‘In Focus…’ looks at the sector of carbon dioxide (CO2) application technologies, the variety of dry ice block producing machines, valves, food transportation systems, and chilling, freezing and refrigeration technologies – not forgetting the behemoth beverages sector.
None of these applications, nor those not listed, could exist if the gas isn’t produced. However, the production of CO2 is a controversial topic. Lime kilns, which burn limestone to produce calcium oxide, and the production of magnesium, ammonia and hydrogen are all responsible for the emission of large quantities of CO2. But, as you’re about to learn, our industry’s leaders are being as environmentally friendly as possible to ensure damage to our world is reduced.
This feature will follow the gas, detailing all the various growth drivers that are making this sector grow, as well as the technological trends that are occurring in the market.
