More than 60% of respondents to the latest Baird/gasworld Survey reported a significant supply chain disruption in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2021.
Whether it be packaged gas or high-end welding equipment, businesses are experiencing challenges, according to the 2021 Q4 Welding and Industrial Gas Survey.
“Every welding machine and plasma supplier this past year had 1-2 month lead times. We are still waiting on some equipment that was ordered in November,” said one respondent.
