Gasworld US caught up with Tom Kairys, Vice-President, Sales & Marketing at CP Industries, to get an insight into recent developments at the McKeesport, Pennsylvania-based company, and trends in the North America hydrogen industry.
Can you explain CP industries (CPI) capabilities when it comes to high-pressure hydrogen storage vessels?
Tom Kairys (TK): CPI has been involved in making high pressure jumbo hydrogen cylinders for over 50 years and have many cylinders out in the field and on the road supporting the hydrogen economy. Our current capability is that we can and have manufactured hydrogen jumbo cylinders for ground storage from designed pressure ranges from 40 bar (580 PSI to 1034 (14,997 PSI) bar and transportable DOT/ISO cylinders from 165 Bar (2400 PSI) to 248 Bar (3600 PSI). We feel very confident that our cylinder portfolio will meet and exceed all customer expectations.
