Expansion is in KOBELCO Compressors America, Inc.’s (KCA) DNA. In 2011, the company opened a new state of the art compressor manufacturing facility in Corona, California, which enabled the company to significantly ramp up production.
The operation has grown significantly since then and now has over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space. This allows 15-20 compressor skids to be on the floor at any given time. KCA reports that this space has aided its production growth, while exponentially increasing its manufacturing capabilities. Since 2014 the company has successfully added a variety of centrifugal compressor products to its production line-up, and today is considering adding more.
