It’s a brand new year with brand new savings to be made in the bulk liquid market of cryogenic gases, as a study shows that a quiet yet unsettling depletion trend has been infiltrating the cryogenic distribution chain.
The delivery needs of cryogenic gases are rooted in safety, quality, reliability and, crucially, product availability, with cryogenic liquid containers designed for the consistent and economic transportation and storage of liquefied gases at cryogenic temperatures.
Characteristically, liquid cylinders are double-walled vacuum vessels with multi-layer insulation in the instrument’s annular space. Basically, they are designed to keep the cold stuff in and the ambient stuff out – but that is easier said than done as commonly-occurring ‘heat leaks’ are upsetting the wider distribution chain.
