Experts are predicting that natural gas in its liquid form (LNG) will play a much greater role in overall gas supply and a natural gas focused global energy revolution is upon us.
Abundant, clean burning and significantly less costly than diesel fuel on an energy-equivalent basis, natural gas has become the global fuel of choice as a bridge to a non-carbon future that is still decades off. Not so long ago, LNG was primarily a means for transporting gas by ocean carrier to distant markets for power generation. However, today LNG plays a much greater role in overall gas supply, and small-scale LNG has revolutionized the production and distribution processes enabling wider access to it.
