Founded in 1929 in Auburn as Maine Gas Services, Maine Oxy has been supplying industrial gases, specialty gases and welding materials for 90 years.
Since starting in the small North-eastern state, Maine Oxy has opened multiple facilities, operates over 150,000 cylinders, six tractors, 42 route-trucks and 25 trailers and pick-ups, serving five states, two countries and covering over a million miles per year. The company has also acquired three locations in the Quebec Province in Canada, which operate under the name VAC Oxy.
Throughout its 90-year history, the company has expanded to 16 locations in five states: Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Vermont, as well as three in Canada.
