Deemed an essential business during the peak of the coronavirus pandemic, 2020 has been a demanding year for family-owned business Cyl-Tec, as it continued to serve its customers while producing new and innovative products.
‘Most innovative year yet’
“The production staff has been putting in overtime and extra shifts to get orders out quickly and our customer service team has been working harder than ever because we know how tough this year has been for many gas distributors,” Kirill Zelin, Regional Sales Manager-Central and Northeast told gasworld as he reflected on the whirlwind year.
The coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic did not hold back business for the Aurora, Illinois-based gas cylinder and bulk tanks manufacturer. Described as the year of ‘new’ by Zelin, 2020 saw additions to the team, product portfolio and new company focuses.
