The medical industry is rapidly approaching a two-year milestone that nobody will be celebrating. The Covid-19 outbreak, first detected in late 2019, has spread across borders at such a rapid rate that healthcare systems and supply chains are still struggling to catch up.

Global demand for oxygen therapy and medical gas equipment reached unprecedented levels, a trend that has continued following the rebound of national economies in recent months as countries begin to relax lockdown measures, increased social activity has occurred which has spurred a further wave of infections and patient hospitalisations.
