Orange Research is a manufacturer of instrumentation in the form of differential pressure, flow and level, located in Milford, Connecticut, around an hour’s drive from New York City.
Founded in 1963, in Orange, the next town over, the company took the name of the town and added the word research – which described some of its early instruments and a dedication to researching solutions for customers.
Typical of many New England companies, Orange Research started in a red barn behind the family home of its founder, Les Hoffman. Hoffman’s son, Paul Hoffman, now leads the company.
