ORS Nasco and OKI Bering Join Forces

The competitive landscape in the welding industry has evolved significantly over the last half century and the successful market players are the ones who have evolved with the industry and add measurable value to their customers. For over 50 years, ORS Nasco and OKI Bering have competed for the right to partner with welding distributors and suppliers with the singular goal of delivering a value proposition that increases their competitive viability.

On November 1, 2012, ORS Nasco and OKI Bering joined forces to accelerate our long heritage of creating success for our distribution customers and supplier partners. For decades we have collectively demonstrated our commitment to the welding industry and believe we are clearly aligned with the longterm interests of our distribution and supplier partners. We look forward to the opportunity to earn deeper relationships and continuing the success we have enjoyed together.

Clearly we agreed the businesses being combined together into one entity would deliver an improved value proposition to our distributors and suppliers through the enhancement of the organization’s capabilities.

Our corporate strategy is “winning from the middle” while enabling our customers, suppliers, associates, and communities to succeed. We deliver value to our partnership by focusing our capabilities on three components: 1) facilitating revenue growth; 2) reduce operating costs; and 3) improve working capital efficiency. Let’s take it a little further.
