Beginning life as The Sight Feed Generator Company in 1924, Rexarc International Inc. arose out of a patented technology related to acetylene generation and has a history steeped in technology and innovation, at one time holding over 20 patents on various gas and welding technologies. This heritage in originality is a big reason the company is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year.
Rexarc describes itself as ‘a bit of an anomaly’ in that it is both a capital equipment manufacturer and a light industrial manufacture, design, and assembly company by definition. The company touches and serves almost every industry and end-user through its product line, used in the electronics, metals, chemicals, refining, manufacturing, food and beverage, healthcare, glass/ceramics, plastics, shipbuilding, and energy production industries.
