In February my wife and I decided to take a two-week vacation in Chile and since the flight was 13 hours long, I thought it was an excellent opportunity to stay on afterwards and make something of a business trip out of it.
After two absolutely enjoyable weeks of visiting the Atacama Desert (during the worst invierno boliviano in more than a decade, causing flash flooding and cutting off roads to the most popular sites in northern Chile), touring the vineyards in Colchagua and finishing up in Chilean Patagonia, I had the opportunity to see what is likely one of the world’s southernmost cylinder filling stations in the world near Punta Arenas, near the strait of Magellan.
What a fitting way to end my vacation and start my business trip.
