Connecticut’s Praxair, Inc. announced early in March that the company has acquired UK-based NOxBOX Ltd. Known for manufacturing inhaled gas delivery and monitoring instruments for the medical market, NOxBOX was acquired from Praxair supplier Bedfont Scientific Limited.
The company will remain based in the UK, which speaks to two important areas where Praxair is looking to continue to grow: Internationally and in the healthcare segment.
As Praxair Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer Stephen F. Angel noted in a January 2016 investor conference call for Q4 2015, healthcare is one area of growth currently balancing other struggling market segments, like oil and manufacturing.
