The New England Food Show and Seafood Expo North America 2015 was held in Boston, March 15-17. In a fitting tribute to the Expo, which featured lots of ways to freeze foods, attendees were treated to the human version of an individually quick frozen (IQF) event on the first day.
A sudden storm burst onto the scene bringing snow, then light rain, followed by a big temperature drop which left those caught outside, literally quick frozen. The storm also broke Boston’s all-time record for snow fall in a single winter.
Inside the Boston Convention Center there was a warm welcome and lots of great food to cheer the natives and visitors alike. CryoGas attended this year’s show and brings you this recap of some of the many interesting technologies and industrial gas market developments we learned about.
