Baird & Co. to provide quarterly reports on the state of the US Gases and Welding & Cutting Distributor segment from the perspective of the broader US Industrial Distribution industry. Baird, an international wealth management firm, has been compiling various industry surveys for several years.
With the addition of industrial gas distributors to its “Industrial Distribution” survey, Baird is now able to provide specific summarized data for industrial gas and hardgoods distribution as compared to overall US industrial distribution. All reports are based on confidential responses from distribution companies representing over $95 billion in annual revenues.
The survey includes general questions for all distributors on annual sales, primary products, markets, revenue and pricing trends, inventory levels, and margin trends.
