TOMCO2 Systems – An interview with CEO Eric Rottier

Eric Rottier might find less time this summer to enjoy boating, fishing, and watersports on the 10,000 lakes in his beloved home state of Minnesota, but he looks forward to the challenges in front of him.

Rottier was named CEO of Loganville, Georgia-based TOMCO2 Systems in February while also maintaining his current role as CEO & Chairman of Taylor-Wharton. TOMCO2 Systems has been around for nearly 50 years as a world leader in CO2 systems and applications, providing CO2 solutions for industrial gas, water technologies, fire suppression, and food systems. Some of the products the company offers include foam insulated storage tanks, delivery units, dry ice equipment, CO2 recovery plants, pumps, vaporizers, control systems, equipment financing, parts, field service and installations. Customers are primarily end users and to a lesser degree gas companies.

Rottier took over his new role following the acquisition of TOMCO2 by Japan’s Air Water, Inc. Established in 1929, Air Water’s operations are based on industrial and medical gas applications. Air Water has recently expanded its business to a variety of fields including chemicals, medical treatment, energy, agriculture, food products and more. TOMCO2 will be led by Luke Bradshaw, who transitioned from his role as vice-president of Business Development for Taylor-Wharton to take the role of President at TOMCO2
