With companies like FuelCell Energy, it’s easy to imagine the age of waste has come to an end.

Corporate headquarters and research reside in Danbury, Connecticut, and the company’s manufacturing makes its home in a 65,000 square foot facility tucked away in the rolling hills of Torrington, in the western part of the state. At the end of a long road of companies, FuelCell’s manufacturing facility has office and fabrication space arranged to construct and ship their alternative power plant solutions to anywhere in the world.

FuelCell Energy aren’t exactly shy about what they do — it’s right there in the name. In plant sizes that range from sub-megawatt to the DFC3000, a dual-module cluster of 3,200-individual cells (400 divided over four stacks, two per module) capable of producing 2.8 megawatts for grid support and near-zero emissions, FuelCell has earned their reputation by offering quality, sustainable alternative energy options for customers either looking to supplement the grid or leave it behind altogether.
