Since its founding in 1970 by Andy and Sue Castiglione, WestAir has rapidly become one of the largest independent distributors of gases, gas equipment and welding supplies in the Southwest US.
Formerly known as San Diego Welders Supply, the company was created as a response to Castiglione’s recognition of the need for improved customer service in the welding equipment and supplies industry.
Once established, business sales for WestAir grew exceptionally and the company quickly expanded much beyond expectation, but family still remained a key component for the business owners.
