TGE Gas Engineering GmbH will be represented within the business program of the upcoming 3rd International LNG Congress by its sales manager Tobias Puklavec. He talked about their role and newest developments in the world of LNG.
Can you explain to us the business of TGE?
Since the foundation of TGE in 1980, we have expanded our range of expertise considerably in line with the changing project demands and challenges. Today we are one of the world’s leading engineering contractors for projects involving the storage and handling of liquefied gases in the energy and petrochemical / chemical industries. We have more than 35 years’ experience in this field, providing a full range of services, from concept / feasibility studies to lump-sum turnkey project execution. All as the main partner of our customers.
What is your role in the world of LNG?
Since our entry into the LNG terminal Business, in 2001, our services and solutions for production and import terminals for LNG have been geared towards accommodating the increasing world-wide demand for clean energy. Since then we have designed and installed more than 3 million cubic meters of LNG storage with more than 13 MMTPA of LNG regasification capacity. If you see our references today you will for sure acknowledge that LNG plant design and construction is our day-to-day business, but nowadays we see ourselves more as a total solution provider for the whole LNG chain. This makes TGE highly attractive to Customers without their own in-house technical knowledge as they are able to engage us to deliver the value chain from one hand.
What are New Developments TGE is working on?
Until today we have developed innovative solutions for bigger sized LNG Regasification Terminals and small – and medium -scale liquefaction plants for natural gas. This is, beside our activities in the Petrochemical Business, for sure our so-called core business. Working together with well-known international partners, we are engineering cost-effective state-of-the-art solutions that are tailored to our customers’ requirements.
