This role would ideally suit a graduate with an interest in the events or publishing industry, or someone looking to change career, who has the confidence and drive to achieve in a challenging and growing industry.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing for potential delegates and event attendees
- Generating sales from previous attendees as well as new business
- Presenting and confidentally selling table top and sponsorship packages
- Assisting the event sales team in lead qualification, sourcing and appointment setting
- Developing global business relationships
- Working across the full gasworld event portfolio
- Support of team member when required
- Answering customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner by email and telephone
- Working to meet personal and company-wide monthly targets
- Ensure Dynamics is updated regularly with client and contact information
- To attend sales meetings and training sessions as required
- To cover other areas of the business where necessary.
Must Haves
- The drive to succeed and the desire to learn and develop
- A degree and/or a minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role
- An eye for detail
- Impeccable time management and organisational skills
- A creative, passionate and energetic personality
- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
