Mike Bee, Commercial General Manager – Buzwair Gases
Graduated from University of Leeds (UK) with a BSc Metallurgy in 1976 and joined British Steel achieving the position of Senior Metallurgist: Continuous casting and Plate Mill. Immigrated to South Africa in 1982 joining Highveld Steel and Vanadium as Senior Metallurgist. In 1984 joined industrial gas company Messer Fedgas as an Application Engineer. Mike went on to hold positions as Project Manager, Gas Applications Manager and finally Marketing Director responsible for bulk gases, specialty gases, industrial services and bulk logistics. In 2000 he was appointed as Managing Director of Industrial Urethanes, a specialty chemical company in the AECI group. Mike joined Buzwair Industrial Gases in 2011 and currently holds the position of General Manager: Regional Business Development.
