Gastech 2015 which will be held this year in Singapore, 27-30 October 2015 will be jointly hosted by NGV Global and dmg events (Global Energy). The partnership will converge on the ideal forum to discuss the commercial opportunities within the expanding Asian NGV market by adding a dedicated Natural Gas Vehicle (NGV) Zone to the event in Singapore.
The strategic decision to introduce an NGV Zone will showcase the latest technological advances and highlight the increased flexibility to use natural gas within transportation.
Recently released statistics show that half the world’s NGV’s and stations are in Asia with growth in both averaging 20% per annum. Navigant Research in a recent report, also predicted that by 2022 Medium and Heavy- Duty Vehicles (M-HDVs) powered by natural/methane gas could reach 3.7 million units (up from 2.09 million in December 2013) and 76.2% of the market for buses and trucks will be in Asia.
With the key growth markets based in Asia, the partnership between NGV Global and Gastech Singapore will connect suppliers and buyers within NGV.
