The 12 Days of Content: An interview with Electronic Fluorocarbons

It’s been a very busy year for Electronic Fluorocarbons (EFC), from working tirelessly to support the implementation of the $52bn CHIPS Act, to forming new partnerships in the semiconductor space.

Based in Massachusetts, EFC has been supplying the semiconductor market with high purity gases and advanced materials for more than 20 years and is the largest supplier in North America of several key gases used to make computer chips, including C4F8, CF4 and SF6 as well as rare gases such as xenon, krypton, and neon (excimer laser gases).

Here, in the latest instalment of gasworld’s 12 Days of Content series, we sit down with Matt Adams, Executive Vice-President of Electronic Fluorocarbons, to discuss the landmark year for the semiconductor market and what it expects to see in 2023.
