60 homes damaged after hydrogen plant explosion

Approximately 60 homes were left damaged after an explosion at a OneH2 hydrogen facility in North Carolina yesterday, WBTV reports.

According to officials, all of the affected homes have been inspected by Catawba County building inspectors and City of Hickory fire inspectors.

The explosion at OneH2’s facility took place at approximately 8:30am on Tuesday and is thought to have happened near the back, outside part of the building.

None of the company’s 44 employees who work at the site have been reported as injured, according to WBTV.
