A-Gas, a specialist in the management of full lifecycle specialty chemicals, has been shortlisted in three categories at the annual RAC Cooling Industry Awards.
The UK branch of the global business has been named as a finalist in both the Refrigeration Product of the Year and the Refrigeration Innovation of the Year categories for its new oil disposal service.
Faye Maddocks, Commercial Manager at A-Gas UK, explained, “We have developed a new process which will allows us – through our wholesalers – to recover contaminated oil in containers, safely and securely. This means that the old oil is disposed of responsibility through a strictly monitored waste management programme at licensed premises. It removes the burden from the contractor, saves time and minimises cost.”
