A third US industrial gas company to help hurricane victims

American Air Liquide too will be making a $100,000 donation to the American Red Cross as a contribution to relief efforts related to the devastating impact of Hurricane Katrina.

The contribution follows Air Products’ and Praxair’s example; both US industrial gas giants have donated the same amount for the cause this week.

According to Air Liquide’s announcement today, throughout the past week the company’s top priority has been the safety and well being of its employees and customers, their families and the welfare of others in our communities.

In addition to addressing the immediate and longer-term needs of its employees and their families in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Air Liquide has remained committed to keeping its facilities operating safely and productively for its customers.
