Scott Specialty Gases, involved in the delivery of high-purity and mixed gases for industrial, scientific, medical and semiconductor applications, has recently been awarded ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for one of its facility’s.
The accreditation applies to the company’s eastern regional manufacturing and laboratory facility located in Plumsteadville, Pennsylvania.
Joe Munley, regional vice president, said, “Our Eastern Region operating team is proud of the fact that we have recently earned ISO 17025 accreditation. This achievement is a result of a great deal of detailed effort and hard work, and is a natural extension to our current ISO 9001 certification. It also reflects Scott’s continued interest in strengthening our quality systems, with the overall objective being to maintain our position as supplier of the highest quality specialty gas products in the industry.”
Scott is the world’s largest producer of EPA protocol gases and provides all types of gas handling equipment and custom distribution systems.
