California-based ACD LLC, a subsidiary of Cryogenics Industries, has announced the successful completion of the second phase of gas fuel trials on one of the world’s largest LNG carriers.
According to ACD, the successful trials – as reported by Qatari publication The Peninsula – concern the second phase of the main engine gas injection system.
The LNG carrier is owned by shipping company Nakilat.
ACD’s involvement concerns the LNG fuel gas system, which was manufactured and tested at the company’s facilities in Southern California.
