The three-yearly international show was according to the organisers, Dechema, a great success among the exhibitors who were satisfi ed with excellent business contacts and positive stimulus for innovation and investment.
From the industrial gas companies point of view the event saw the household names such as Linde Engineering, Air Liquide, Woikoski, Messer Cutting and Welding and BOC Edwards as well as Herose, Man Turbo, Worthington Cylinders, Rotarex, Flowserve, Safety Systems UK, Meca-Inox and Witt Gas.
Lindes Dr.-Ing. Gerhard Beysel told gasworld that the event provided a major opportunity to reach out to students and present the company as an opportunity
for graduates. Beysel said: ” a PR point of view this is a great chance for us to show that we are a modern and forward looking company to work for.”
Finnish industrial gas company Woikoski on the other hand commented on the excellent business opportunities. Managing director Clas Palmberg, said: ” was definitely a positive experience from a business point of view. Our main purpose was to find new customers, meet existing ones and also to find new suppliers. I believe the target was met.”
