The Linde Group has decided to move the manufacturing operations of African Oxygen Limited’s (Afrox’s) gas equipment from South Africa to Europe.
The move is said to “guarantee that Afrox customers will receive the best possible quality products.”
Afrox’s gas equipment will now be manufactured in Italy, including single-stage and multi-stage regulators. Under the relocation, the company’s products will be re-certified to ISO2503.
Afrox, a subsidiary of global gas giant Linde, assured that although the manufacturing has moved, its customers will still benefit from a strong after-sales service and technical support via its Afrox Research and Development Department.
