Afrox is joining forces with voestalpine Böhler Welding to manufacture welding consumables.
Announcing the news today (3rd Nov), sub-Saharan Africa’s leading industrial gases and welding company said it has formed a new joint venture company with voestalpine Böhler Welding to manufacture both companies welding products for the South African, sub-Saharan African and other export markets.
Afrox has contributed its current welding consumables factory in Brits, a town in the North West province of South Africa, into the new company, voestalpine Bohler Welding Africa, and sold 51% of it to voestalpine Böhler Welding.
