Using Air Liquide’s innovative technology, two of the most complex satellites ever produced in Europe are to be launched on May 14th.
As part of European Space Agency (ESA) scientific programmes, the launch of Ariane 5 has been announced.
The European carrier will launch two satellites, Planck and Herschel, which will be placed in an orbit 1.5 million kilometers from earth, after a voyage through space lasting almost four months.
These new space telescopes will be able to supply astrophysicists with unprecedented data of previously unseen accuracy, about the universe, its origin and its evolution.
