Air Liquide America has announced it is raising prices on its packaged and bulk gases due to increased costs associated with energy and the sourcing of raw materials.
The price increases for its bulk and packaged gases will range between 10 and 15 per cent and will become effective immediately or as contracts permit. Additionally, Air Liquide America will continue cost recovery efforts through various regional surcharges.
Kim Denney, president of Air Liquide America, said: We continue to see raw material cost increases across all product lines, strong escalation in power and natural gas costs, and sharp increases for specific products such as SF6 and hydrogen.
‘These raw material cost increases are compounded by the increasing cost of distribution associated with sourcing and delivery.’
