Air Liquide has created a new EXPLOR! centre, a laboratory that evaluates the medical devices and new technologies used by patients suffering from chronic diseases.
Located in Gentilly in the Paris region, the EXPLOR! center brings together a multidisciplinary team of Air Liquide healthcare experts in the fields of ventilation, sleep disorders, oxygen-therapy, perfusion, nutrition and diabetes.
The key characteristic of EXPLOR! is that it evaluates the efficacy and comfort of each medical device while taking the many possible patient profiles into account.
EXPLOR! is equipped with test benches and simulation equipment. These evaluation tools are developed in collaboration with medical doctors and university researchers to analyse and compare the performance of medical devices.
