Air Liquide Industrial U.S. announces price increases

Air Liquide Industrial U.S. LP, the subsidiary of American Air Liquide Holdings, Inc. responsible for providing bulk gases and related services to industrial customers in the U.S., announces price increases for its U.S. industrial and medical gas customers.

These increases will be effective immediately or as permitted by customer contracts.

The price increases will be a minimum of 15 per cent for liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, helium and hydrogen. Carbon dioxide, dry ice and liquid argon prices will be increased a minimum of ten percent with the elimination of existing discounts where possible for all products.

Etienne Lepoutre, president of Air Liquide Industrial U.S. LP, said: Despite strong efforts to limit our energy, transportation and compliance costs, the magnitude of these costs, underscored by the continuing after-effects of two recent hurricanes, leaves us no alternative but to initiate these actions immediately.”
