French industrial gas magnate, Air Liquide, is to invest around €10m in an oxygen supply deal with the Bulgarian firm, Aurubis.
The French industrial gas magnate, Air Liquide has signed an oxygen supply deal with Arubis of Bulgaria. As part of this deal, Air Liquide will invest around €10 million in the expansion of its Pirdop operations.
The facility, located 80km east of Sofia, will provide 350 tonnes per day (tpd) of gaseous oxygen, in addition to the 800 tpd already provided. Augustin de Roubin, member of Air Liquide Executive Committee, Vice-President South and Eastern Europe, said that Air Liquide was, “delighted to sign with a major player in the copper industry.”
He added, “Air Liquide is also proud to meet the growing needs of its customers and accompany them in their geographical expansion, in this case in South Eastern Europe. Developing Economies are one of the Group’s growth drivers.”
