Air Liquide inaugurated its first, large-scale biomethane production plant in the US yesterday.
The Tier One corporation was joined by stakeholders, local officials and members of the community at a ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand opening of its landfill gas (LFG) to renewable gas (RNG) purification plant in Walnut, Mississippi.
The new plant is located in the Northeast Mississippi Landfill (NEML) site, which is owned by Northeast Mississippi Solid Waste Management Authority, and operated by Waste Connections, Inc., a national solid waste company.
