Air Liquide to divest Trinidad and Tobago business

Industrial gas company Air Liquide has announced the sale of its business in Trinidad and Tobago to Massy Gas Products Holding Ltd. (MGPHL).

According to Air Liquide, the move is part of its strategy to regularly review its asset portfolio and focus on selected fast developing areas and activities.

As part of the sale, the approximately 30 employees of the business will be integrated within MGPHL.

Air Liquide entered the local market in 2022 after acquiring Messer Trinidad Limited. Its operations in Trinidad & Tobago comprised of two air separation units (ASU) supplying oxygen and nitrogen via an extension pipeline network to customers in the Point Lisas Industrial Estate.
