Air Liquide Tunisia sponsors medical research prize

Medical researcher, Mrs JalilaBen Khelil, has been awarded with the ‘best medical research prize’ for her work in acute asthma related breathing insufficiency.

The 5,000 dinar prize was awarded to the Tunisian Professor by the minister of health, Mr Ridha Kechrid, during the ceremony held in Tunis attended by officials of Air Liquide, the prize sponsors.

The Minister stressed the importance of Dr Ben Khelil’s research noting that currently some 5,000 Tunisians are affected by this illness and are totally oxygen dependant.
